(INTRO)
Is your New Year's resolution to clean out that cluttered attic? Don't throw anything away until you've watched the new season of Antiques Roadshow. The popular antiques appraisal show proves that trash might be treasure when it begins its new season Monday at 8:00 p.m. ET (check your local listings).
Host Mark Walberg, says this season continues to delight and surprise viewers with its treasures.
(WALBERG)
THIS SEASON, WE FIND INCREDIBLE DISCOVERIES IN EVERY CORNER OF THE COUNTRY. IN HONOLULU WE FOUND A PAINTING BOUGHT FOR $400 AND ESTIMATED TO BE WORTH AS MUCH AS $180,000, AND IN MILWAUKEE, WE SAW A FAMILY HEIRLOOM DESK WHOSE VALUE COULD TOP $250,000. IT NEVER FAILS TO AMAZE ME HOW MUCH TREASURE AND HISTORY IS HIDING IN ATTICS, BASEMENTS, CLOSETS, OR EVEN IN PLAIN SIGHT.
(CLOSE)
Roadshow's new season includes episodes from Honolulu, Philadelphia, Tucson, Mobile, Salt Lake City, and Milwaukee. For more information about these shows and the summer 2007 tour visit pbs.org/antiques.
